Why it should be in a Housefic Hall of Fame: We never see much interaction between Foreman and Wilson, and this is a nice story about the two men just hanging out and playing a bit of basketball. Lovely flashbacks dealing with Wilson's brothers as well.
Sample:
Wilson stood in place, head down. He bounced the ball, glanced up at the basket, and suddenly charged past Foreman like an uncoiling spring. He was up, at the basket, and had dunked left-handed before Foreman knew what had happened.
“Here you go,” Wilson said, and returned the ball hard. Foreman’s palms stung from the impact.
“Do strict rules include me making that shot left-handed?”
“That wouldn’t be fair,” Wilson said. “Make it right-handed.”
