Witness now my requisite birthday post! 23 feels old. Older than perhaps any other age I've ever turned, except for perhaps when I turned 10. Upon reaching that notable age, I thought to myself, "Wow, I will probably have a two-digit age until I die." (I was a morbid little child, this I know).

Actually, I agree that 23 did seem unusually old (besides the obvious).

Maybe its because it was the first birthday after college and we seem to be expected to be adult for real now (college was just barely adult, and sometimes not even that).
