Finishing a fic. Lately I find myself writing the scenes I really want to get down and then just stopping. It's not that I've lost interest in the fic; it just gets harder and harder to actually sit down and do the hard work of creating a finished story.

Isn't it funny how this resonated with so many of us? But, yes, so much yes. I have this really long fic, mostly edited, almost ready to go. But it needs about four filler scenes, B to link A to C. And I just can't get there. So frustrating.

Also - I have never read The Annals, which shocks me no end, and is immediately on my to-do list. But, I did reread Gothic Revival, No Hope, No Cure - and it just gets better every time I do.

Congrats on all you've achieved in this fandom, and many thanks for all the you have given. <3

You may need a collaborator, someone to read through what you've got and help construct and/or refine the missing pieces.

I'm pretty good at that, and will have a little time this coming week.

Heh, I was actually somewhat relieved that the motivation problem resonated with so many, because sometimes I worry that OMG I'M THE ONLY ONE, and I think that everyone else is toddling merrily along, finishing fics by the dozens. :D

I hope you enjoy The Annals! And thank you for reading. ♥ ♥ ♥
