Glorious return of House, MD

Apr 28, 2008 13:10

Someone kick me.  Hard, please.

After the USA marathon (yay, USA reruns!) I'm impossibly psyched for the return of House tonight.  I fear for my fragile optimism though, it is much easier to watch with dull interest than giddy excitement that Cameron may be on screen for more than 15 seconds.  Bring me back to skepticism; it better suits my ( Read more... )

Hold on to that excitement and bottle it for when something really pisses you off. That way, you'll have a little bit of Cameron in your pocket to pull out at just the right time!

Hmmm I think she may be coming back as a part of the team? No?

I think she's pissed that House keeps stealing her ER patients right out from under her nose without bothering with the formalities of, oh you know, telling anyone about it! That's my guess.

Desperately seeking snark... I miss House!

I would advise you to come back to earth because Cameron probably won't be in the episode full force. Maybe 30 seconds!???

You can still be excited about seeing House (and other characters you like ), but probably not about seeing much of Cameron.

I, for example, would love to see more of Wilson/Amber relationship. I want to see the two of them actually act like a couple. We haven't seen any of that on the show at all (

I don't want to be a spoiled egg, but I think you my dear my get your wish very soon!!

This high I'm on is too good to give up. I'll wait in earnest for the joy that can only be had between the hours of 9:00-10:00 (Eastern time, of course).

Then when I crash, I always have the USA marathon on my DVR to bring me back up!

Oh I am all for spoilers. I know there will be some Wilson/Amber today and in the coming epis.

Which episodes did they show in the marathon yesterday? I just hope that people who only tuned in in season 4 get to see some wonderful Cam!love )

Oh, it was a sweet trip back in time.

Detox
Control (One of my favs)
Mob Rules
Heavy
Role Model (One of my favs)
Babies & Bathwater

I am a huge Amber fan, and an even bigger Wilson fan. So, this pairing blows my nuts! (if I had them, of course)

The USA marathon had the same effect on me. I'm nostalgic for the old days, but also really excited for tonight. I really need to temper my enthusiasm, 'cause I'm afraid I'm going to be let down.

If TPTB decide to minimalize Cameron's role to the likes of a sweepstakes winner's soap opra walk-on, I at least am holding out hope that 'House' won't be a complete caricature of himself. If you take away our Team, at least give us Classic House 1.0!

This weekend while in Ohio I was thinking about the lack of screen time for Cameron and Chase, and it made me reflect on the fact that for the past three plus years, Cuddy hasn't really had much screen time compared to Cameron, Foreman, and Chase.

Just a thought.

That said, I long and yearn for more of Cameron and in particular, more of House AND Cameron together.

As I anticipate tonight's episode, it is with mixed feelings. I'm hoping for good writing above all -- for an episode that doesn't try to do too much with too little in terms of all of its players. If that even makes sense.

I miss the sense of sexual titillation I used to feel just from seeing Hugh Laurie as House on the screen. I hope that I feel it as I watch the episode tonight.

I too look forward to more Wilson/Amber. I adore the Wilson/Amber/House dynamic.

I wish I had a fellow House fan to watch the show with tonight, to calm my nerves.

Yes Reka, Yes. I will take our House (the one that catches your breath, makes your mind whirl, peaks sexual desires beyond what you remember even in dreams) over any team, any day. Rewatching S1 (I say this over and over, forgive me) reminds me of the blinding heat between the character I adore most (Our House) and his girl.

Oh, the days when Cameron was 'his girl'.
