Would you happen to know if he was also the author of a book that had nothing but strange letters of complaints to diffrent companies and importiant people and their replies? I can't think of the name of the book and I am 75% sure he was the writer.

Yes. It's called "Letters from The Road" I think. I have the first volume but I'm in the middle of moving and it's packed, so I can't get to it..
..No wait. Maybe there was the word Highway in the title. I'd look it up for you but I'm mourning and don't want to be bombarded with his works right now.

(or spell correctly in my posts)

"Generation of Swine","The Rum Diary","The Great Shark Hunt," "Hell's Angels","The Proud Highway.","Hey Rube: Blood Sport the Bush Doctrine and the Downward Spiral of Dumbness", "Fear and Loathing: On the Campaign Trail '72." and of course "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"

so I guess that would be The Proud Highway... I guess looking for it on ebay today would be stupid... all his books are going to be outrageously priced. :(
