Happy Anniversary!
Edward smiled as he slowly flipped through the old family photo alblum that Winry somehow saved from the days when they were kids. Each photograph inspired an old memory. Alphonse was sitting next to him, looking over his shoulder, his own book laying forgotten on his lap. Roy, Riza, and Masuta would look up at the two siblings as an occasional giggle or outright laugh floated across the room.
It's raining today, just like it was raining that day so long ago. Edward mused.
Turning to the last page, he saw that there was only one picture. It was in the center of the page, almost like it was the most important picture in the alblum.
"What's this picture mean?" Alphonse asked.
Edward smiled and replied "It's a picture of my pocket watch from before I went to Masuta's world. Winry must have taken it."
His smile wasn't happy, but it wasn't sad, either. It was one of remembrances. He knew Alphonse didn't remember the particular reason for it, but he also knew that Alphonse would remember it someday.
Edward looked up at the calander and whispered "I haven't forgotten. I'm just remembering in my own way."
