My back is starting to form to the shape of a couch. Not just one couch, for I sleep on many including: my parents, Emily's, my uncles, and the one at work. Studying historical and cultural sleeping styles would be an interesting project--couch sleeping is likewise an intriguing cultural study

Have you ever considered stand up comedy or becoming a writer for one? Even in the midst of despair (rock bottom as you call it)you always have a sense of humor. It helps you cope, and I admire you for it. Sounds like you need to catch some zzzz's on a real bed, not some ill fitting queen size on a double bunk either. Hope you sleep well....
