Alternate History
I don't know why I haven't put this here before now.
Andrion Herros Iys Quaadreccalln, rebellious second son of the head of the Quaadron family, goes to face his testing to get into the Princess Guard. He faces down Briieth herself, but at the point where he has her locked in a stalemate, he is hit by an onslaught of memories of the future.
Briieth is also hit with such memories, as is Oraania, who was observing the testing.
Neither Andrion or Briieth have the time to react, as Oraania goes into a screaming fit and has to be transported to her quarters so healers can check her over. As things calm down however, the two of them have time to truly come to terms with what has happened.
The Second Keeper War took a turn for the worse, prompting Khyilenna and Mimnristriqua to come up with a risky solution: They would use Rift Fire to thrust themselves and their closest family back in time so they can try to change history and prevent the worst of the First War from happening, and maybe prevent the Second War from happening at all.
Eons of memories of their futures are now in their heads, clear as a bell.
They soon discover they are not the only ones, Ksalla has received future memories, Kitanya comes to visit and privately speak to Briieth. All of them can sense that they carry pieces of other souls in them - Briieth has half of Kharnimya with the other half being carried by Andrion. Oraania is carrying half of Mareph and a quarter of Mimnristriqua. Ksalla has half of Cahdrisian.
Some time later, Andrion, Briieth and Oraania are cornered on a battlefield and herded into a cave. They meet Argchskin Mrrgr there, who also has the future memories. He shows that he has gained much of Arran's personality, and proposes a secret alliance.
They won't be able to do a lot on their own, though, and need to wait until the Nexus arrive and Khyilenna can join them. After that happens, Argchskin can ostensibly "abduct" Oraania so they can regain Mareph. Oraania will go to stay with Khyilenna again so that Mareph's future place as a Knight of the Flame can be regained without objection. Mimnristriqua will eventually return to them through... the usual means. Andrion and Briieth will eventually re-breed Kharnimya.
No solid plans can be made about Cahdrisian though, but they can only hope the Riftbeing who fathered him will again visit their Reality and take an interest in Ksalla.
Meanwhile the four of them will do what they can to mitigate the effect of the war.
When the Nexus do arrive they find out that the time-revision has worked for Khyilenna, even while she was still in the Rift. As soon as she has a private audience with Briieth, she opens up to them as the same Khyi they remember from the future. The memories hit her right in the middle of the Rift and she has been practically champing at the bit to reach the Keeper Reality to see them again.
Eventually the time arrives for the repeat of the kidnapping. A situation is orchestrated to cover Oraania actually going willingly. Things are easier on Oraania this time, the insanity of her future memories does affect her, but she manages to retain her stability. This version of the kidnapping is far kinder, with Argchskin basically keeping Oraania hidden in his quarters, only allowing other captives to attend to her needs - no demons were allowed to see her.
She ends up pregnant again, Khyilenna's troops come to get her and take her to the People of the Flame's compound, and housing her - once again - in the White Palace. The same as the future memories, there is a faction in the Praadera Council who are rabidly against Oraania, believing her damaged (never mind she is far less damaged this time around than she was in the future memories).
The steps to reworking the whole war are slow to start with, but getting there.
