I'm not completely up to date with canon, but I don't think anyone ever said. The closest we get to finding out anything about places from Wilson's past is, afaik, that scene in season 1 (? 2?) when he talks about his brother.
Hello! Thanks for that :) That's all I could remember, but my memory's so crappy that I thought I might have overlooked it.
I'm v. well, thanks :) And how are you? We really must meet up when you're over here next term. I've been mired in RL stuff for months, but things are gradually getting straight. If you've no objection then I reckon it would be great fun to finally meet :)
Gena's coming over in January, btw *is excited* to see JB. We're planning to meet in Birmingham! *is even more excited*
I'd love to meet. I could get you into Doctor Who! ;) I'm actually still in the UK; I'm flying to Germany on the 24th. (At freaking early o'clock in the morning, ugh, lol.) But I'll be back on the 31st, and spending a couple of days in London with a bunch of other fangirls. And then I'll be back in Southampton for uni. So, yeah! Whenever's good for you. :D
Ooh JB. I remember you quite liking the looks of him as Captain Jack, if I'm not mistaken ;). Have loads of fun, and say hi to Gena from me!
For the lols: I actually read that as "Any idea where Wilson's pants are?"
WTH, brain? Gutter, much?
I have Wilson's pants. BTW.
Uhh... this is unhelpful. You might try the Road trip ep, Birthmarks? I think they talk a little about Wilson's past in there, they might have mentioned something, or at least something you could work with?
I have a proggy that shows me emails on the server so that I can delete spam at source, and for some reason it only showed me your "I have Wilson's pants. BTW."
*needs to sit down*
heheh... :)
Right! Birthmarks, eh? Thank you for that. I'm always happier than a happy thing to watch Birthmarks *g*
No one has ever said where Wilson's parents are. However, I can tell you there are a lot of retirees from NY and NJ on the coasts of Florida, and on the Atlantic coast in particular (West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Cocoa Beach).
Or they could have moved to Naples, Bonita Springs, Sanibel Island, even my home town of Ft. Myers -- all on the Gulf of Mexico. Any of those would be very, very believable.
I figure that if Wilson's family has all moved far away, it would help explain why we never see them or hear of Wilson going to visit them. Perhaps visits involve getting on an airplane and braving Miami International Airport and Cocaine Distribution Center (a name I borrowed from writer Dave Barry, who lives in Miami and knows whereof he speaks).

I think it's Birthmarks? is that the road trip one? My House/Wilson knowledge is so fail.

For a person whose H/W knowledge is fail, you write sublimely perfect H/W dialogue :) I think your H/W knowledge is WIN in all important respects!
