Oh, Lily! Yoohoo!

Can you find a good tattoo parlor near the hotel? lovethosehobbit and I are going to get small white tree tattooes Saturday or Sunday.

This one isn't too far from me---probably only about ten minutes from the hotel. It says you do have to have an appointment for a custom tattoo. Take a look and see if it appeals.

Thanks, Lily! I'll check this site out in detail at home tonight. Be great if that works out, it's so close to things.

And I can work up the design, pass it by Tree and Claudia, and have it sent to them ahead of time to help with consultation.

This looks great!! I am a tatt virgin but am still very excited..

I have a graphic for the tree with the seven stars. It's a keychain that Janet gave me and will work perfectly!!

I do have a graphic of the tree that I'm thinking to use ... we can still be tattie sisters even if our individual designs are slightly different. Get yours scanned and into a graphics file, that's what I'm going to do with mine though I'll bet you ours are the same -- or draw it the size you want it on your arm and scan it. I think we might want to email pics to them ahead of time when making the appointment ... wherever we end up going. That will help with estimates of time and money from them. Will look at that site in detail tonight when I get home. Yay!

How large would it be do you think and which way would it face? It's kinda a one way design. The image on my keychain is pretty much identical to the necklace you showed us. I can't really scan the keychain, but you know what I'm talking about.

Size and orientation would be a you want it. See the new post I made last night to this comm for potential designs. I suspect the one you're referring to is the first one :-)

You know, this idea is really sticking with me... but I'll probably have to pass this time around. Their comment about it being better to be healthy when you get a tattoo makes me think I'd better not risk it with this fever thing still hanging around. :\ The prospect of horrifying my mother/family is great, though! ;D
