Last night I finished reading the *audible sigh* third book in what is now a 4 part series for "child protégé writer" Christopher Paolini, Brisingr.

I have to say that the first book was great, the second book... not as good but obviously setting us up for the "last" book... about 3/4 of the way through Brisingr.... I realized that there was no way

I really like how human the characters are, each with their flaws and their virtues. The "good guys" aren't always good and the "bad guys" turn out to be less "evil" than "self-motivated". This makes for an enthralling read and I too have lost hours of sleep to these things.
