...I'm not sure either, but I have a hunch that they were trained to be violent or hate humans in general.

[Says the guy who used his wooden sword and fought in the fray with his Pokémon.]

[Will never EVER get used to chatting with Zero.]

Yes, it appears so... I wonder how far that training goes. She has calmed down in the last few days, but she still attacks when startled.

[What do you mean is there something wrong with joining the fight instead of sitting there?]

Judging from what I suspect to be the culprit, it is very likely that he probably abuses them rather than train them.

[Yeah he's forwarding Harp that feed.]

[Between Zero and Killua's threads, Harp is either going to have a seizure, or go for the kill regarding Tarantulas xDDDD]

I see... Has anyone done anything about it?

[Search your feelings, Zero, you know exactly where this is going xD]

I know what happened, but its going to take alot to help her cope with it.

We have been taking small steps, at least now she can stay outside of her pokeball without causing problems.

That's good then.

I tell you right now. Some idiot was mental and physically torturing them to any humans on sight. Apparently he did so he could rob the department store.

[Long. Dramatic. Pause.]

Do you know who that person was?

Yes.

She was already badly hurt when I found her, and for some reason she wasn't attacking so I got her in a pokeball to see if there was a way to help her recover.

She recovered just fine of her physical wounds, but I think it will take a long time for her to recover mentally.

We've been working on that. She is more comfortable around us at least.

Got a few clues - the two I caught? One's scared of'er own shadow, the other one's vicious, but like the cases I used to see brought in on animal abuse arrests - bettin' whoever was behind it, abused'em and "trained"'em to be vicious ...

An' just before they all went nuts?

Bas [Here he moves the Pokégear so the camera's showing a Houndour, currently chasing a random butterfly as if his life depends on it] started pawin' at his ears an'whining, like there was some kinda sound or signal he didn't like. Wasn't set off or anything, but didn't settle down completely 'til about when the bugs did, so I think they were puttin' out somethin' that they were conditioned to react to.

I see. So they were treated like that, and then they used the signal set them off to attack everyone...

Others have pointed me out to a certain individual, and I also heard that the invasion was used as a distraction for a robbery.

[He nods..] If it's the guy I'm thinkin' of - someone did a loony broadcast just before the attack t'the gears, sayin' it was too quiet and cackling like he knew somethin'; heard from a few people that he's been up t'no good before.

Hadn't heard 'bout the robbery... but it fits what I'd been thinkin' - somethin' big like that, I'd figured it'd either have to be testin' something, or a distraction ...'r both.

Yes, this is most likely the same person.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were both either. That kind of people have no qualms on hurting others for their personal goals.
