Using the Extract Filter To Delete A Background
1. Select Filter, Extract to open the Extract dialog box.
2. Select the Edge Highlighter tool and use the Tool Options area to set brush size and color.
3. Paint the outside edge of the object, making sure that you cover the full edge of the object along with any anti-aliased edges.
4. If necessary, select the Eraser tool and clean up the edges. Use the Zoom tool to set the proper magnification as you work.
5. Select the Fill tool and click anywhere inside the outlined object; all the areas to be preserved are covered with the fill color.
6. Click the Preview button to view the results. If they're acceptable, click OK. If necessary, use the Cleanup or Edge Touchup tools
