Ow. :( I've often thought about how the shape of Fraser's life must change after his father's departure. It would feel like a final bereavement, or perhaps, finally accepting the first. Beautifully done. Oh... and the painful detail of the date beginning to fade. Everything is swallowed by time. An awful lot in so few words.
