i don't know you, and i only stumbled into your journal because i'm feeling like a vegetable today so i'm not really doing anything productive. and since i haven't been paying attention to any of your other entries, i may be saying something really dumb... but in case this entry was meant to be taken literally, may i, as a college student, advise you not to use this as a college essay. first, admissions doesn't care about all the exotic places you've been. so telling them about your missionary work in china, for example, is not going to beat a good essay about some everyday experience such as the thoughts that go through your head as you watch people in a train station (i dunno). second, you have nothing of substance in that essay. please don't send that as an application. also, boot-shaped country is an annoying thing to read in an essay. even the people who've never seen a map already know what italy looks like because all history textbooks start the rome chapter with "bla bla bla boot shaped country." in general, this essay tells ( ... )
