Thailand status update

I've been thinking that I should update this thing with news from my trip, but I'm usually too lazy to. However, I just wrote an e-mail which contained what I've been doing for the last few days. Maybe I'll eventually get around to posting the beginning of my adventures on here, but no promises. If any of you want to e-mail me, you definitly should

Also, wow! That metal thing sounds really cool. Or hot. 500 C? Good gravy, that's really freaking hot. Don't burn yourself! There is a book called The C Programming Language which is supposedly very good for learning C (I haven't looked at my dad's copy yet, though) that you could try to find if you want.

The thing with Grace is a joke. Also, you have to heat it to 500C the first time, but after that it only gets heated to 60 or 70 to change back to it's shape

Pointers in C and C++ refer to the memory address of a variable instead of the actual value of it. They're useful for linking pieces of data together. It has nothing to do with a computer's IP.

Also: You have my promises to stay quiet about Harry Potter 7.
Also also: I want a souvenir from Thailand. Shape memory alloy will do nicely ;-)

I'll see what I can do about shape memory alloy. On the one hand, one of the professors I know has a giant roll of it and might not mind giving me some. On the other hand, it's like a dollar a foot, so he might have issue.
