not ready for Christmas...

I really don't think I'm ready for Christmas.  I haven't even thought about decorating, sending Christmas cards, or the possibility of buying anybody presents yet (and on that end, I'm not sure how much I can afford... We've got our Christmas tree up but I didn't help decorate it. I can' really get into the Christmas spirit this year. I don't feel like a scrooge in any way, I just can't get into it. I am very excited for the weekend!

*nods* I feel like you feel... except I'm one step closer. I think it's because we have no snow here! It just doesn't feel like that time to me.

But this morning while waiting for my crew at the coffee shop, they played just the right mix of modern Christmas songs to make me realize the season. So now that I know it's here... there's not enough time!
