my mother and my sister in laws mother flew to prince george a little over a week ago because alison and richie(brother and wife) were expecting their first baby last week. he didnt want to come out when he was supposed to so they had to wait, doctor whoever sd that if he didnt come by thursday theyd induce and entice him out. alison had labour ( Read more... )

WHAT?! ARE you f-ing serious? This is a joke? oh my god. I'm glad they're ok and healthy...but I really really hate doctors.

and i hate doctors. and now i have to go to one. because melissa did and she has strep throat so that means that is probly whats wrong with me. fuckdamnit. am i too old for banana medicins?

I totally echo everything claudette said.

About the strep throat, that's poopy. When I had it as a teenager, they gave me pills, not banana medicine. But, I think it was because I had a weird Australian strain of it.

As for baby stories, I just recently found out my dad has a neat birth story. He was born in an elevator (at the hospital, so not that neat) during Hurricane Hazel.

Also, remember how I suggested looking for a place together? Well, i should've talked to the husband first, because he doesn't think we'll have enough money to pay rent. Renting a storage space will be difficult enough.

That insane...I'm happy baby and mom are OK...congrats to your bro and sis-in-law and have fun being an aunt! My bro just had his second baby last week and the dr's did the same thing - sent my sis-in-law home and said when the pain's so bad she can't walk to come back....well she *just* had enough time to get to the hospital - very close but much closer than Allison!
