abbreiviation for the word 'with'. i picked it up from taking notes in shorthand.

No shit. I didn't ask what it meant, I asked why do you do it. Like what is it supposed to add to your poetry.

i could only come up with two excuses for using "w/" instead of "with".

and i forgot them.

also, i dont do it all the time. i'm positive there are poems i use with instead of w/.

lastly, who gives a shit. i'm sure once i find out that you get published more using 'with' instead of 'w/', i will switch to using 'with' all the time.

You sound like you need to go to church more. You will not find the answer there, but believe you me, it helps when the Lord decides on if you go to Heaven or Hades. Remember that the only thing good in the world is the earth. Live in accordance to the earth and you will be a happy man/woman.
