Please be warned, the following post contains much gushing, lots of talk about The West Wing, and several sentences that start with And. Because I'm too lazy to write properly.

I am in total agreement on all points :) I made it through the first season and a half recently while I was packing/moving/unpacking. Need to get back to it! In the meantime I'm watching Damages, mostly because of how awesome Glenn Close was in the Supremes :)

Evelyn Lang! I love her! I love her brain, I love her SHOES!

The Supremes is such an excellent episode :D Is The Closer good? I was never drawn to it.

Damages? It's not great, but it's watchable and there's a lot of suspense that keeps you flying through the netflix discs :) And yes, The Supremes is great, as is nearly every episode Deborah Kahn worked on.

came to the end too soon and found myself with nothing to do and a giant hole in my heart where this incredible piece of television genius had stormed through it without ever stopping for a moment

Are we the same person, or just sharing a brain? Because that was EXACTLY the way I felt, and I'm wondering if it'll ever stop hurting. Or at least, hurt less (the only thing that raised a laugh out of me weeks later was Kung Fu Panda *sigh*).

I don't feel like I ever will. For the longest time I couldn't even contemplate watching anything else. It's ridiculous really, to be affected so much, but I just couldn't handle it.

*sigh*

Seriously, that show just lays waste to its fans. Though I'd say BSG is worth being devastated by, it was just too hard to finally let it go.

It's totally worth it. My life was incomplete before I discovered this show.
