80% of my summer TV excitement is already reserved for Katee and Longmire. 10% for Bunheads. But this figures into the other 10% somewhere. It's on my list and I'll check it out. Wish Sorkin was better with ladies and their storylines honestly. And there's no one on the cast I'm super excited about.
I am! I can't help it! :D I am also excited for Longmire, but currently my summer excitement is split between these two things. I too, wish that he would do better with women, to be honest he infuriates me a hell of a lot, but I just really love the way he writes, like the actual physical phrasing and language of it. I know that his overall stories can be condescending and self-aggrandising but I just love the words, and I'm also a sucker for unreasonable idealism, which is a common thread with a lot of his characters.
What on earth is Bunheads when it's at home in the shower? I'm assuming something to do with dancing?
ETA: You should be excited about John Gallagher Jr, he's the cutest :D

Um, I have never heard this phrase before! LOL. It's slang for "ballerina" because they wear their hair in buns.
It's a new show for ABC Family (my fave network because it loves ladies and girls and friendship!) written by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who created Gilmore Girls, and stars my favorite broadway actress Sutton Foster as a former showgirl who impulsively marries a guy she doesn't love to get away from her failed career/sad life in Vegas. They move to his wacky small town and she meets his mom -- Kelly Bishop from Gilmore Girls -- who is not pleased at all about this. She runs a dance studio and Sutton's character Michelle finds some common ground bonding with the girls over dance (no doubt eventually she'll bond with her new mother-in-law over that too.)
It premieres June 11 and I'm excited for it! :)
Oh that kid is Lea Michele's ex boyfriend. Right. I never would have known/recognized him but the name seemed familiar. Was he in other things you like?
Heh, I use it on the fairly regular, although I guess it is a particularly English turn of phrase. *Shrug* I like it :)
Sounds pretty cool,I can see why you're excited about it.
I did not know that they used to go out. I only really know him from Spring Awakening but he was phenomenal in it, and he has such a great voice, and he's generally just adorable in interviews and such. Oh, and he's in one episode of the West Wing and he's kind of the cutest thing in it. I think he's swell :)
