Asgard One Sentence

1. Ring

2. Hero
In his own time long past, in his own land long forgotten, with a name no longer spoken, he was a hero; the man always at the forefront of battle, the man spearheading the charge, the man who would leap into the fray to save his brothers by bond without a second thought; now he was not more than a beast, shunned and hunted and hated; lo how the mighty have fallen.

3. Memory
If there was one thing he was truly good at, it was retaining knowledge about anything and everything; random facts and cultural knowledge that might escape even the greatest scholars remained firmly locked in his mind, no matter how much time passed; but he’d be damned if he could understand the people around him sometimes.

4. Box
In his own world, he felt trapped, almost always on the run, never able to settle down in one place for very long, but here, he didn’t feel confined, here he could move more or less as freely as he wanted with few exceptions.

5. Run
He couldn’t contain his laughter as he sprinted through the fresh foliage of spring, letting the first scents and sounds of the season wash over him; on days like this, he could almost forget all the bad that’s happened throughout the centuries.

6. Hurricane
The feeling was akin to a great storm held firmly within his chest, a roiling beast that was always waiting to let loose its fury upon the world, and he knew that the day he finally truly succumbed to that storm, he would not regret it.

7. Wings
His arms spread wide as he sprawled out in a sunny spot in the clearing he’d found, and for just a brief moment, he could almost imagine what it was like to be a bird, truly free from the confines of the world.

8. Cold
He liked the cold, it gave a feeling of solitude, a feeling of familiarity, and most importantly it gave a feeling of safety; he knew that the hunters would not tempt fate and chase him in the frigid temperatures unless they prepared properly, which meant that much more time to kick back and relax.

9. Red
The street ran red with the human’s blood, his arm torn asunder with one swift attack, and the werewolf couldn’t be more pleased; he finally got to put the piece of shit in his place.

10. Drink
It’s been far too long since he’s been able to enjoy a drink with the company of another, but going to Haze just prior to closing, when Asellus has chased out all the usual customers, has become sort of a ritual for the two of them; he shows up and helps her fix things up, then they both kick back, relax, and enjoy a stiff drink as well as each other’s company.

11. Midnight
Atop one of the entrances to his den, he sits and stares up into the sky, eyes locked on the full moon; it’s only a matter of time before his howls cut across the landscape.

12. Temptation

13. View
The ambiance of the hot springs couldn’t be beaten, no matter where they were in Asgard, but today the view was quite improved over what it was usually; today he was not alone, he was in fact accompanied by a very lithe and attractive woman, and the heat of the water only served to entice them both as fingers memorized musculature and points that elicited the greatest responses.

16. Cover
One might be surprised to learn that he actually sleeps with covers, though they tend to be made from the furs of various animals, and he will never tell where he learned to make his blankets.

17. Promise
“I’ll do whatever it takes.” echoes in his head as he stands in front of Regina, able to see how lost she’s become even if he doesn’t want to accept it; the thought of what he’s going to have to do pains him to no end.

18. Dream
Everyone sat about in Asellus’ bar, literally everyone; laughing, drinking, and sharing stories without a flicker of animosity from any of those gathered, it was nothing short of perfect, and it all shattered in an instant as he jolted awake, unsure if it was a dream or a nightmare.

19. Candle

20. Talent
He seemed to have a talent for ending up around women, and he couldn’t help but notice that they all tended to be either very stubborn (like Clare), headstrong (like Asellus), or both (like Regina), though he supposed that he shouldn’t complain, in the end.

21. Silence
The feeling is odd, but not unwelcome; he slips an arm around her waist despite her grumbling and quietly calling him an idiot in her native tongue, but he can tell she’s smiling faintly as she says it so he takes it in perfect stride, laughing lightly as he kisses her hair before settling in to sleep next to her.

25. Mask
Her blank eyes annoyed him to no end; he can never quite be sure just what she’s thinking as she speaks, as she spouts her rhetoric yet again; those blind eyes were perfect for her to hide behind, to protect her from his own prying eyes.

26. Ice

27. Fall
He cries out in surprise as he suddenly falls into a sink hole, swearing the entire way down, and when he finally lands, he can hear Regina laughing quietly at his plight from her safety above ground, which causes him to ignore his temporary injuries and smile.

28. Forgotten
His reason for originally going to the bar was long forgotten as their bodies rocked and their backs arched, her sheets now tangled around them both as they moved and swayed, the bed near screaming in protest beneath them as the tryst lasted through the night and well into the morning.

Her fussing over his wounds was entirely unnecessary, but apparently the plethora of spears and arrows sticking out of his torso was worrying her to no end, even if she knew that he wasn’t hurt when all was said and done; he could only sigh as she carefully pulled another arrow out of his chest and dabbed away the minute amount of blood.

32. Farewells
He hated saying goodbye, it was probably one of the only things about being what he was that he truly disliked; it meant that there were so few others like you, so almost everyone you knew and loved would fade away while you stayed exactly the same, and it haunted him on empty nights.

33. World

34. Formal
Walking through the city, the hood of his cloak pulled securely over his head, the werewolf paused outside a store for a moment, staring at items on display in the window; a snort later and he carried on, there was no way he’d ever be caught in a dress suit.

37. Lies
Stretching the truth wasn’t beyond him, but when Asellus, point blank, asked him if he had any feelings for her, or for Regina for that matter, he paled and couldn’t even come up with a single thing to say, truth or otherwise.

38. Forever
His life would last forever and a day, be it in Asgard or the world he came from, but at least here, he had some friends who would be around as long as he would.

39. Overwhelmed
The barrage of questions from the psychotic fairy causes him to cover his ears and yell at her to shut up at the top of his lungs, which gets the desired result, except for that almost confused stare she always gives him; looking at her like that he could almost call her cute, if he didn’t know she was bloody insane behind that innocent look.

42. Talk
He sat on a boulder as she stood next to it, both of them staring off into the distance as they discussed the matters at hand; he still had no idea how Clare had convinced him to move through the forests of Sidhe with her, though he thought she might’ve used Regina’s well-being as some sort of leverage.

43. Search
Sometimes he wondered why she needed the things she did, but he always knew better than to question it lest she smack him in the head; it’s just that this time, wading through a swamp looking for a specific kind of frog, he couldn’t help but wonder if she sent him off on some of these errands for her own amusement.

He has no fear of the unknown, it is something welcomed to him, it keeps his never ending life interesting; that doesn’t mean things don’t catch him by surprise though, because he didn’t expect that whap on the head from her.
