Wandering.
Remus wandered into the library, spotted no less than four Slytherins with openly professed feelings of strong dislike towards him already there, and wandered out of the library. He was in no mood for beating his head against lost causes, and thus gave up any hope of getting homework done-- without the library (he could never study under hostile conditions), and outside of the Common Room (which was not exactly conducive to learning), he didn't really have a place to go. So he wandered back to Gryffindor Tower, mumbled the password, and wandered up the stairs, thinking a bit of a lie-down might be nice.
He arrived in the dorm, however, to find his bed otherwise occupied.
