The realization has dawned upon me that I am in desperate need of a haircut. I look positively disreputable.

Also, I seem to have dislocated my shoulder while skiing. It is rather irksome. Means I spend a lot of time sitting around reading, though, so I suppose it isn't terrible. Sirius has taken up the peculiar habit of making me tea whenever I ( Read more... )

Quite honestly, you don't frighten me in the least. I've bigger things to think about.

Fuck you, Snape. This is none of your concern.

Apparently it's all of my concern, seeing as he was defending me.

I don't know what you've done to him, but I swear, if you don't leave him the fuck alone you will regret it.

I've not done anything to him. Well, nothing detrimental to his health, at any rate. And again, I wasn't aware you were his keeper.

You keep your hideous nose out of things you don't understand, Snivellus.

Oh, no. Insulting my nose. That hurts. At least I don't result to barbaric customs, like...oh, what was it..."beating somebody into a bloody pulp?"

Severus, honestly, don't provoke him...

Remus, honestly, he's irritating me.

Yes, well... that's no reason to make it worse by reciprocating. He'll only escalate, and then you'll only escalate, and it will be really unpleasant.

What else am I supposed to do? I can't just ignore him.

Well, why not? I have to ignore him any time I want to get any studying done.

He's your friend, not mine. It's not like he's asking me to go for a romp on the grounds, or whatever you Gryffindors do.

No, he generally does not ask me to go for a romp on the grounds, seeing as he knows full well that I do not romp. Mostly, he'll be as annoying as he can to get my attention... He really does know how to infuriate me, too. However, I can ignore him if I put my mind to it, and thus so can you.

I'm not quite as disciplined as you are in that capacity, I suppose.

It does take a bit of practice, but it's well worth the trouble.
