Yesterday I was finally able to see the film The Runaways. Its about the first girl punk/rock band of the same name, the one that rock stars Joan Jett and Lita Ford started out in. The film was loosely based on an autobiography by the band's singer, Cherie Curry, and one of the producers was Joan Jett

I heard about this movie a couple of months ago, and it's definitely on my list of movies to see. But I don't know if/when it'll get a UK release. Given when I heard of it, it might have been London-only which is a pain.
