I heard somewhere that this group was infiltrated by a bunch of elitist that think they know each and everything about ska and that they hate "outsiders". Any truth to that statement?

yes, i'd suppose so, though our elitism has essentially made most of us too good for posting in livejournal groups these days.

Not to be an asshole or anything, but didn't a guy named Hitler have an attitude just like that once upon a time? How does thinking you are better than others make you so "great"? Spare me any "you're a hippie" comments.

1. It was a joke.

2. I hardly thinking being elitist in a genre of music is even close to comparable to Hitler, so I don't know why you're trying to make that comparison.

wow...someone's a little defensive eh? Not sure how I was supposed to know it was a joke. That's just what I heard.
