i am utterly disgusted with the things some people say. i'm trying to me more tolerant, but honestly; if they really believe these things, why am i friends with them? i won't say anything, i won't be rude. but why have anything to do with them?

I think one thing you're going to learn and accept is that not all of your close friends are going to have the same beliefs as you..and that is okay. As long as they don't mutter such horrid things as "I hate black people" or something as equally distasteful.

i was actually refering to someone's habits and views on responsibility, not their political beliefs.
