Acknowledgments.

So, personally, one of my favorite parts of a book (other than the book itself, of course) is the acknowledgments. I read Going Bovine by Libba Bray recently (which is an amazing book, however convoluted and confusing it may be.) She has about three pages in the beginning of that book of acknowledgments, and I laughed so hard at the entire thing.

YES! I know what you mean. I read EVERYTHING before reading the book. I read from the title page to the author's acknowledgement and dedications. I think it really tells me if I'm going to like a book or not more than a review does. :)
