Just checking in - things are going well. I definitely feel better. Much more in control than I'd felt for all of 2006. It's a pretty relaxed 'diet' right now but that's what I need. Yesterday my local news station did a short piece on "Pro-Ana" sites. It was complete bullshit. They targeted the pro sites as though they were the root cause of eating disorders and disordered eating among young women. I weighed myself this morning. 10 pounds less than my last weigh, although that was at the doctor's, and those two scales never seem to match. In fact, that scale can't even match itself within a five minute time frame. I have always been told that I had no major medical issues in my family history to worry about.. just recently, my grandfather has been diagnosed with boderline diabetes.
