so, i'm quite pissed off, because the Peace Corps says I have to have my wisdom teeth pulled before they'll let me go off on my great poverty adventure. And i really don't want to get oral surgery. ick.
Ugh, I just had that done last week! The first few days went fine for me, but after you run out of painkillers thats when the true agaony of it hits you. Plus one side of my face was totally swollen for about a week to the point where I really didn't want to be seen in public because it looked like I was a domestic violence victim. The actual surgery isn't bad though, I don't really remember anything except arriving at the dentist and telling someone I felt woosie. Luckily mine weren't impacted or anything so the healing time was fast and the overall pain wasn't too bad. Not much fun though. I think the worst part is not being able to eat solid foods. I was starving for about 10 days. I love yogurt but as my only source of food it didn't quite cut it. Good luck with it!!! You'll be happier once you've done it cause then you don't have to worry about all the nasty stuff that can happen if you don't get them out. Okay well I've rambled on enough. Lata!!!
I got my TB test read yesterday! Yay for being TB free. And soon I'll known if I have AIDS or any sort of Hepatitis (Question: what if I test positive? Is that even POSSIBLE?) I have my actual Peace Corps physical on Wednesday. There's this little check box that says "anus/rectum", which really worries me.
So, congrats on William and Mary! I'm so excited! Upper level degree! Also: we're sooo old! Ancient!
