The Grit rules. I'm so happy that I'm eating the Golden Bowl in my pajamas in my bed. I did it up right, too.... over brown rice, and I melted fake vegan cheese over the top. Yummmm.
Yeah, I really want to try the yeast gravy soon. Mmmmm.
As far as the Grit tofu recipe goes, here are a couple of hints:
-Make sure your tofu is very well drained & pressed- you want it to be really firm. -The recipe specifies using a non-stick skillet, and that is pretty vital. -I used a pretty small amount of soy sauce... when it says "sprinkle", it totally means it. -Don't add the nutritional yeast until the tofu is pretty much done cooking. You only want to toss the yeast in the skillet for a few seconds.
I don't mean to "hint" you to death, but I've tried and failed at this recipe a couple of times, and from what I've read online, most people have tried and failed many times. I figured you could benefit from as much help as you can get!
