Yeah, I am pretty excited about learning to sew for real. I've been sewing for years, but in silly half-assy ways. Bags, tshirts I take apart and put back together... my apron was my first pattern project and it turned out so well!

Congrats on a successfully made apron! I use patterns from time to time but I never follow their directions. Shame on me! ;)

Do we get to see a pic of you presenting baked goodies while wearing said apron with legally blond in the background? hehehe

Well, I'm hoping to take some pictures soon, but with my crazy work/school schedule lately, I can't really even remember the last time I fixed my hair, put on makeup, or even wore something other than glorified pajamas. But... when I do get a chance to do these things, a picture will happen most definitely. I totally want to show off my handiwork. =)

when I come to Atlanta...

I am going to bring a couple of girlie movies with me.
like, The Notebook. or Riding in Cars with Boys. or something like them.
while we watch them we will knit together.
and I'll make my mom's butter pecan pie.
and we'll paint our toe nails.

THEN

go to Nashville and get tattoos!
it's kind of like Thelma and Louise.

That sounds awesome! 'The Notebook' makes me cry my eyes out for two hours straight, and I love it. And knitting... and pie.... painting toe nails... perfect.
