I feel so selfish.
and greedy.

Yesterday I saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.  It was nothing like I expected.  I expected it would be a comedy where all the girls get boyfriends and they all live happily ever after (and I wouldn't have liked it). 
But it wasn't.

I won't tell you the story, but the little girl named Bailey really made me think

you're still young so you shouldn't feel guilty to want things.

when you're all old and all you do is work and pay bills you'll miss being able to be selfish and buy yourself things. thats why old balding guys in thier 50s buy expensive sports cars y'know?

That is quite astute to some to the realization that there is more to life then getting a boyfriend.

If your assumption had been what the movie was reall like it would have been pretty crap in my opinion O;

It would have been crap if it was just about what I thought it would be like.

That movie really made me think, too :( I cried for so many parts... it was so heartfelt and really about thruth in life. It's not all having fun in the summer, going off on vacation and getting boys... there are huge downfalls which many of us don't even realize.

I donate money quite a bit to foundations for cancer, and aids, but still, sometimes I /do/ feel selfish about buying my dolls. I understand your feeling :(

I would have hated the movie if it was just going off on vacation and getting boys... it was way better than I thought it would be. Now it's one of my favorite movies.
