Notes: So.....this didn’t quite turn out as weather-y as I’d hoped. Of course, the prompt was the initial springboard from where I started and somehow ended up with this whopping thing. Thanks to my prompter, this was seriously brilliant, especially the character stipulations as I might never have truly discovered these characters otherwise. Also my heart to Kitty, my awesome friend and adviser, who was with me throughout on this.
Summary: They were the unrecognised few, among the many. The many in the fog-ridden winters of 1981- whose laughter, joy, friendship, thought to be invincible, thought to live forever, were held up as sacrifices so that the world could keep on living.
