"Says here you’re going to be super horny now," Parvati says matter-of-factly, nose buried in Navigating your Lunar Cycle. She looks at Lavender with an expression of faux thoughtfulness and concludes: "Hot."
"It does not!" Lavender laughs, swatting playfully at Parvati.
"Does too."
This - Parvati researching lycanthropy, joking about sex, acting no different towards Lavender despite the bandages still obscuring half her face, showing Lavender her desire is unchanged, being silly - is the only thing making Lavender feel human lately (despite their research topic).
"Listen," Parvati reads in her sexy Shut Up voice: "'Newly turned werewolves typically note an overall increase in musculature and a heightened desire to copulate on the days leading up to the full moon. Many also describe a desire for rare beef.'"
Lavender considers this. "I’m not sure how the meat thing fits in."
"Or doesn’t, in our case." Parvati smirks and presents her hand for a high five. Lavender rolls her eyes and smacks it.
"Extra bonus: I’m already an expert at navigating my lunar cycle," Lavender quips. It feels good.
Parvati laughs. "Who said your denial year with Won Won was a total waste?"
"You, I recall."
Parvati concedes the point with a kiss.
