HP Spring Fling 2011: Comment Policy + Recs
Dear members, watchers and lurkers,
Posting for the HP Spring Fling 2011 begins today! :-D
New fics will be posted from Tuesday to Sunday, until the end of the fest. Weekly round-ups will go up on Mondays. Please keep in mind that fics rated NC-17 will only be visible to community members, and that membership will only be granted to individuals who display on their LJ profiles an age statement or other evidence that they are over 18.
Comment Policy
You are welcome--and encouraged--to leave comments on as many fics as you wish. However, in order to preserve this community's peaceful atmosphere, we ask that all comments are friendly, polite and respectful. We absolutely won't tolerate comments that include things like open attacks, spam, criptic jabs, spam, displays of entitlement, spam, self-righteous remarks, and spam. All inappropriate comments will be deleted, and their authors will likely be banned forever not only from this community, but also from all other communities we run.
We also ask that you refrain from offering constructive criticism (or any other kind of criticism) on the fest's entries when commenting on them. Please understand that this is a fest, not a critique group. We are here because we want to exchange gifts and celebrate the characters, pairings and genres we like. Besides, offering unsolicited criticism to anonymous authors is rude, since they can't respond while their names aren't revealed.
This brings us to the next point: this is an anonymous exchange. Therefore, if you recognise a participant's style, please don't mention their name (or any hints that could help people guess their name) in your comments. We also ask that our participants do not respond to any reviews before the reveals go up--not even by using anonymous comments or alternative accounts.
One more thing: this is a multicharacter, multipairing exchange. We have a zero-tolerance policy for ship wars and character bashing. Enough said.

Send an email to springflingmods[AT]gmail[DOT]com, including the title of the recommended fanwork and a direct link to the post where we can find your rec (no friends-locked posts, please). Alternatively, you can leave a comment on this entry. Just fill the comment box below with all the needed info.
In case you post your recs to a community rather than on your own journals, please make sure that said community does allow recs.
