Thanks! I don't know why I find the idea that Sirius gnawed his fingernails off in Azkaban so appealing. But I was able to get four drabbles out of it...

These were awesome drabbles, very emotional. The second one really ties them all together. Keep it up!

Thank you! Azkaban says so, so much about Sirius's character, and I think Rowling too often ignores that. The second drabble was a complete afterthought, but I did love the connection it brought, so I'm glad that it worked for you!

Thanks so much! When I wrote them, I was thinking a lot about the 12 years he spent in Azkaban, and like sor_bet said, I think it's easy to forget what it really must have been like for him. The only times we see him in canon, he's free and almost recovered. But say, three or six years in, never mind ten or eleven, and I can't even imagine what he must have been like.
