Who: GRYFFINDOOOORS (Especially Oscar, because really, who else matters :|) Where: THE GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOOOM When: AFTER DINNEERRR Notes/Warnings: GRYFFINDORS CAN HAVE COMMON ROOM LOGS TOO, SEE. EAT IT, SLYTHERBUTTHEADS XP
James looked from his homework. No, before anyone has a heart attack, he had not actually been doing it. He'd been doodling snitches and quaffles, but still, it was on the parchment for his homework. "Oh gross, go back out!" He called back, equally cheerful, to his most Oscar-y cousin.
Marius had been busy sitting in a corner, trying his best to ignore everyone (and shooting suspicious glances at that other Weasley, who thankfully was leaving him well enough alone) when he heard that voice. He groaned and wondered if hiding behind a chair would get him kicked out of Gryffindor for cowardice.
He decided it was worth a shot. "Slytherin, here I come..."
Quite frankly, James hadn't actually noticed the other boy what with him being so small and quiet. Although, that may have been a good thing since he was dreadfully bored and could use some entertainment. He thought he heard a whisper about Slytherin, but that was doubtful considering he was in his beloved Gryffindor tower. No snakes here. Except for maybe the one the third year across the room was practicing turning into a piece of rope.
Marius thought he was doing rather a good job of hiding. Then he made the mistake of peeking over the top of the chair to see if he had been spotted--bad idea, what with his rather recognizable curly blond hair and all.
Nigel, who'd been sitting up in his dorm reading up on magical creatures (particularly thestrals) heard commotion down in the common room. He hadn't yet gotten to know his housemates that well and hey, now was as good as time as any.
He tiptoed his way down the steps and crept in slowly, surveying the scene and trying to find some kind of opening where he could join in the fun without coming across as awkward. Which, knowing himself, was highly unlikely.
"R-REALLY???" Nigel knew he sounded way more surprised than he should have. "O...oh, I mean, really? Sure!" Nigel smiled gleefully as he took a seat near the rest of the Gryffindors hanging out in the common room. "So, uh, what's going on?" he asked, trying to find a way into the conversation.
