So I'm a bit worried....anxious

I'm going to a quilt group tonight. They regularly meet at my mom's 2nd job. And someone I've known for years is a member and told mom last week they are accepting new members. And that there's a meeting tonight. And she would save me a seat.

I'm anxious/nervous because I don't do too well meeting new people in person. I have met this group
