erk, sadly all the files are too large :( I can make them smaller but I will have to piece them back together, which I think I'd rather reserve for last resort.
I wouldn't consider you having a $60 document converter a personal profit. It's the cost of doing this project.
I know the latest version of word has an automatic word to PDF converter built in, so it is not like you are getting a fancy schmancy piece of software that most of the rest of the world does not have.
Not so far as I can tell. PDF isn't an option and when I went to the online tutorials my word didn't have the spiffy adobe bar all the tutorials told me to use :(
AHA! I found the culprit. I'd never downloaded an add on to the Word 2007 and it was that add on that allowed PDF saving. So it's all saved as a PDF format and I am much much happier :)
*nods* I may take you up on that if for no other reason than my unfamiliairty with the program my be an issue (such as doing such mysterious deeds as embedding fonts ^^)
I will see how things look after I go through the awesome suggestions here and see what happens. :)

Try there . I use the e-book converter there and it works a charm

It does seem though that I should be able to use a free version, so I'll check in on that first :)
