Honey, first I should confess that I've never seen the whole of Casablanca, so um, yeah, I'm not much good on that front :). But Remus as the one who gets on the plane with Lily is *inspired*, as is the reasoning behind it. Oh my poor wee heart. And damn, Remus better find Sirius again after the war (or you know, Sirius find Remus, either way, NOT PICKY, just want m'happy ending of snog).
And mmmmhmmm do I love the vision of Remus in a long overcoat and trilby . . . *smish*
Ohh yay! This is loverly, dear, as I told you from the first. Cor, it's even intimidating. I blame you entirely for that fact that I cannot write mine; it will never be this tight, sussicnt, or atmospheric.
You fit the movie SO WELL onto the characters in the books. Oh! one thing I would ask: do you mind posting the prompt at the top? I'd love to see what inspired this.
Heh. Well, see, what happened was, I lost my prompt, and it didn't occur to me until about a week ago to ask for it again. Anyway, I thought I remembered it, but I was a tiny bit off...
So, the prompt was World War One, the Marauders, and Tenuous Emotional Trauma with a side order of Remus/Sirius.
We won't talk about the fact that Casablanca is set in World War Two...
Oh! Well, if you liked this, you should definitely see the film. It's one of my favorites of all time (obviously!). Lots of the dialogue is lifted straight from the film. ;c)
Oh my god, ahahah, it fits so perfectly, and ;slakf;alkfa you've got this incredible skill of weaving film dialogue and your own descriptions so damn if I can't see Dogstar instead of Rick's and Remus and Sirius in that ridiculous, beautiful, incredible filmnoir kiss. I LOVE YOU THANK YOU omg. :X :X :X :X :X

I was so worried you wouldn't like it because it isn't exactly what you asked for, but YAY!
