Okay, so. I love you. And I was sooo thrilled when I read this comment, that I honestly thought to myself, "You know, that's it. She loved it. I could give a shit about anyone else even reading the damn thing. I'll be happy with just this one."

I admit, I didn't really realize how powerful it is from a reader's perspective; as the author I was constantly re-writing and looking at it critically, trying to figure out the best possible way to tell the story. But when I re-read it? Seriously, I got a little teary-eyed. Which I think means I did a good job, if I can make my obnoxious cynical heart all smushy ;)

I'm so glad you noticed all the little details I threw in for you--yes, the tea, the bath, sekkritly!gay!Percy (though that one wasn't on purpose--I can't really see him as anything OTHER than secretly gay in this context) and brothers. All for you, hot stuff. And I had a blast doing it.

that was great. rawr! i love how well you kept them in character, and the grand set-up was fantastic.

also, percy was hilarious at some points. i squeed!

Hehehe. ♥ Man, that characterization was a bitch. I had to go back and re-write some of those scenes quite a few times to get it right. But it worked in the end, so it's all good :)

And I'm so glad you got the subtle humor in this one; I think it sort of got drowned out in the OMGANGST, so I'm glad you caught it ♥
