As for Harry kicking ass, well, he believes for Black to be brought to justice, their best bet is to inform the ministry in secret on the morrow. That whole plan will fall apart if he just goes crazy and attacks the guy...!

Poor Draco! What the hell is that cruel whip thing?! Gah, I want Harry to use it on Phineas. Until he bleeds. I bet he's one of those people who like inflicting pain but can't stand it themselves. I'm getting so anxious; how will this go back to Harry's time? I'm pretty damn sure that they're the same Dracos, but then how will he get to the future, and I'm assuming he doesn't remember their past... Oh, and now that Draco knows that Reg is dead, does he have his suspicions about the not-remembered meetings with LeStrange? Love it, waiting for update with bated breath.

My thought was that if Phineas Black is the opposite of Albus Dumbledore (Black's called "the worst headmaster in Hogwarts history" in the canon so that's not a stretch), then the magical whip is the evil counterpart of Godric Gryffindor's sword. But there really wasn't time to put that in the story anywhere...!

Glad you enjoyed the intensity. Phineas Black is by far the most hateful villain I've ever written, so I'm very happy you hate him so much!

Just looked at the writers guidelines. YES!!! I was overjoyed to see the directives to use canon spelling and the HP Lexicon as a guide--which I do already! I'll post "Tempus" tomorrow when I get back to my regular internet access.
