I love the bit where Harry goes up to Luna's room, it made me tear up. I also see it as sort of a parallel between Harry/Luna.

Like Harry had no friends growing up until he met Ron/Hermione, so their friendship means the world to him.

Also Luna has commented on the fact that she has hardly had any friends, so she probably feels the same way about Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Harry and Neville that Harry does.

Thoughts on the taboo. Think they have any others for tracking others?
Think Harry feels more betrayed because he is seeing himself in Dumbledore’s shoes and to him what he thought is horrible and could never see himself doing it so hard to consider someone he saw as his hero doing something like that .
Woah Harry is actually thinking ahead of danger to come and not rushing off.
Thoughts on Luna’s house
- Eagle on the door and other links to Ravenclaws
- The dangerous horn thing Luna’s dad has.

About that last point: it kind of makes you wonder how many other dangerous/lethal things they have lying around the house. D:

Luna's ceiling ;~; ♥ That was really poignant, and I really wish they would have put it in the film.

The erumpent horn freaked me out - THIS IS WHY YOU ALWAYS LISTEN TO HERMIONE.

Luna's room. It brought me to tears the first time and continues to do so.

SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FILM. IT MEANS SO DAMN MUCH AND THEY LEFT IT OUT.

Also, yay for the introduction of the Hallows!

And it's weird, because it would have been a stunning shot if they did it right. Sigh.

Thank you, JKR, for introducing me to the word "sycophantic." Gotta love her choice of adverbs. lol
