i agree. i hate that everyone has their own conclusion about it, but i think that's what jkr wants. for example, i don't think arianna was sexually abused in any way even though that's the common assumption. i don't know what i think happened, but the thought of a little girl being raped or abused in the series is too dark for my mind to process or accept. i kind of hope she tells us exactly what happened, someday.
Nope. That was Dumbledore's personal business; his family. Harry should have at least known that Dumbledore had siblings, but then again, Harry would have probably asked questions.. and that's not what Dumbledore wanted.
I think it was understandable for Harry to feel a little betrayed considering he's had to share so much of himself with Dumbledore for the greater good and he's been carrying out Dumbledore's plans long before he was even aware he was doing it, but at the same time, Dumbledore has a right to his privacy and maybe he didn't want to share painful/dark memories with a student because that would be crossing some kind of line...? Or maybe it's just his personal business and he doesn't have to share it with anyone if he doesn't want to. It's like how Harry asked what he saw in the Mirror of Erised and only later realised how personal a question that really was :/
