Harry deserves some props in this chapter, too. I know, I know, many people complain about him using an Unforgivable on Amycus. I personally think his actions are justified because he's been running on pent-up ANGST and CONFUSION and DESPERATION and MANGER for weeks. (And because McGonagall = HBIC/BAMF and you do not disrespect people like that. For serious.) And don't forget: he's had enough of his friends and mentors killed, tortured, disrespected, etc., so far in the wizarding war. Anything more could easily set him over the edge.
