I watched both parts of Deathly Hallows to ring in the new year? That was an interesting experience.

LOL bit of a depressing start to the year?

Yes and no. The group I watched it with are also HP fans and I think it was "oh hey the most recent movies! let's watch!" But DH part 1 I think is hands down my favorite of the series. I re-read DH a billion times in preparation for it and in my opinion it's the most faithful to the series while still being an entertaining movie. Part 2 was good but it's such an odd movie to watch without Part 1 for context.

I'm not on LJ as much anymore, but I just want to say, I miss this community and I miss HP! I got way too busy with college to be able to keep up with reading the books, but I always appreciated the discussion posts and joined them whenever I could. Hope everyone's doing okay. :3

I've probably become slightly reclusive over the summer because I'm taking a summer class which takes up a lot of my time and energy. So I'm on LJ a bunch to wind down but my updates are sporadic and kind of full of boring at times.
