This is the first ever Draco-centric fic that I actually plan to keep and re-read; I just loved it. The idea of Paramagical people is genius (and of course everybody would still use the term 'Squib' out of Hermione's earshot). I liked how you didn't fall into the cliché of the poor Squib and the wealthy family that accepts him back and instead gave us a fully-integrated Squib family with contacts, money and education, who actually help their fallen-from-grace Pureblood relatives find work and regain status. Draco's enthusiasm about the Muggle world and culture seems very IC to me, because we see him in canon very enthusiastic about sports, about being a DE, about doing things his own way - so I feel that this is a natural progression: he finds another thing to learn and excel in, and dives in. I liked Harry's observation about the seamless adaptation(?) of the Malfoys, in contrast to that of the Weasleys, and his bitterness about the wealth and great education even a rejected Malfoy gets, while he had to endure a totally different ( ... )

*blushes* Thank you very much - I'm pleased you enjoyed it. I was very keen for Severin to be someone with a life of his own, who wouldn't be completely overawed by the magical world, but would react to it in ways that his family (and Harry) were not expecting, and who would also have something to offer them. I haven't really written Draco much before, but surprised myself by how much I enjoyed it, so I'm glad you think it worked!
