Yes!! "He hadn't stopped Christmas from coming -- it came! Somehow or other it came just the same!" :D

Love this. Snape's snarliness, the cleverness of the students, subtle hints of what's really going on ("Anyone would think you cared"), and oh, the singing!! The best part of Christmas is the singing. I adore the idea that the Hat would start them off and that everyone would join in. And Luna's thought is so sweet, and so typically generous: especially the Slytherins, who were more in need of hope than anyone.

::happy sigh::

From the title I expected this to be pure humour, but the dark edge made it even better. Such a joy to read. Well done!

Aw, this is so sweet! Ginny's first line was clever, and then all the magical tricks they got up to behind the scenes were awesome. I liked Slughorn here, and the Sorting Hat's parody was wonderful too. Thank you so much! :D

I loved Snape's "grinchiness" in trying to cancel Christmas, and Slughorn's opposing joviality. The song was brilliant, and I enjoyed the D.A.'s hijinks, as always. :) Such a wonderful story all-around! :)

That's absolutely brilliant! The character voices are really good - you can tell who is speaking (which is more than I can sometimes do in the books for the very minor characters!). I loved Carrow's lesson plan and all the tiny glorious details that made it this such a joy to read. I only wish I had been less behind on my commenting as then I would have enjoyed this at the right time. The damp weather has meant that this has been quite an un-Christmassy Christmas. This is exactly what I needed to put things right!
