Has anyone else heard that the IMAX Harry Potter won't be out until two weeks after the release date? I read it on IMDB. Something about Transformers requiring a full month of IMAX screens before they switch over to HP.

I'm game for both! And I'll nosh anywhere.

Due to the uncertainty of the IMAX release on the 14th (likely pushed to the 29th), should we purchase regular-viewing tickets for the midnight release? Will the showing sell out? I've heard of sell-outs in other cities, but I don't recall even remotely having a problem for OotP.

when we tried to see UP the other day, it was NOT in the IMAX because of NIght at the Museum. I really did NOT think about that for Harry Potter .. That will be BOOOOOOOOOOO if so..

Anyway I will call on Monday morning and see what I can get out of the movie minions !!

We were sort of thinking the fox and the hound but no set plans, we could always eat and them meet for drinks ? what time do you normally get in line ??

I am hoping that the midnight showing will be in IMAX. Regardless I am going to see the movie. Dressed in my Hogwarts gear of course!
